Music and photography have been my passion since I was very young, it was only fitting to purchase The Daily Musician last year when the opportunity came right to us. I am a full time Professional Photographer that has been running my business Tailgate Photography for over 10 years now. I just married my best friend in 2016 and we are a husband and wife team in both our photography business and The Daily Musician. I have interviewed new artists and artists that I have grown up listening to. To mention a few so far: Aaron Goodvin, Paul Brandt, Terri Clark, Dustin Lynch, Brett Kissel, Gord Bamford, Susan Aglukark, Dallas Smith and many many more.

I joined Tailgate Photography in 2015 as business partner and second photographer; from there the opportunity for us to purchase The Daily Musician came in April of 2017. Taking over this media publication has been the best decision. Personally, there is nothing I love more than being in the pit and getting to shoot the latest concert or festival. I always liked music but it wasn’t until I met Jenn that she really introduced me to all music. I enjoy getting to meet the artists whether I am interviewing them in person or over the phone.

I enjoy attending concerts and festivals to help out wherever necessary. I help organize and manage upcoming interviews and like to help review albums. I love music, always have. My very first concert was Huey Lewis and The News in 1986 at the Halifax Metro Centre and have attended many more since. I joined my daughter and son in law this year and became part of The Daily Musician.
